OP, it would be nice if you pointed out that is the price after rebate in the title. You could save people a lot of time for those who don't care to deal with rebates.

OP, it's been about six hours since I told you about the problem with your thread title and you STILL haven't fixed it.

This is supposed to be a shuffle mode, or you can use Musicmatch to create playlists. I can't help in navigating to the shuffle mode setting as mine hasn't arrived yet.Originally posted by: OatMan
I just got one of these. Pretty no frills but works for me just fine.
2 questions
1. Is there some way to improve the FM reception? clearly there is no antenna and I can't get diddly.
2. Speaking of crappy manual... Is there some sort of shuffle play? Or at least some way to play tunes other than picking one and going one by one through the list? No playlists is a pain.

As for the FM there isnt' much you can do except try a different station or stand on a rooftop. If it makes use of the headphone cord for an antenna you could try adding an extension cord but that kinda defeats the purpose of a very small portable MP3 player if a bundle of cord is needed.

Step 1. Get sand out of your vagina
Step 2. STFU n00b
This is why MP3 player is good... drowns out surroundingsYou STFU!Step 2. STFU n00b
I think I read a similar review(s) claiming good FM reception, though it might've meant good relative to MP3 players (or who-knows-what), the odds are low that any headphone-antenna based mobile tuner can match a home stereo (or even anything with better antenna ignoring the sensitivity).Originally posted by: jkuo13

I thought I had read a review on these players that said the FM reception was pretty good. Anyhow, for players that small, the antenna pretty much has to be the headphone cord. The orientation of the cord can make a significant difference in reception in my experience (i.e. bunching up the cord vs. having the cord mostly straightened out can affect reception). But I'm speaking from my experience with a different mp3 player....
