Sandisk 1 GB miniSD card - How fast is it?

I'm sure by the very least it is no slower than your currect card. If you current card is atleast fast enough for you, then don't worry about the speed of the sandisk.

I believe it will be slower than your 40X Lexar. It is a miniSD, and is smaller in size - and most likely, has a smaller bandwidth along with losses in the adapter. The bigger question is, how much speed is required by your specific camera? Until you get into digital SLRs, you are dealing with slow walkin', slow talkin, Jones in most cases.

The Lexar says that 1X = 150 KB/sec. Therefore my 40X = 6 MB/sec. The equivalent for the Sandisk being 10 MB/sec would make it a 60X. Thanks for the listing with the speed spec!
