Anyone else waiting for a Sandboxie type program for Vista 64 bit as well ? I posted a little while ago and thread about a new one that should work on Vista 64! link

Comodo Sandbox

I just wish someone had one out already anyone. There is a few others out there but they are still not out :( Seems like they keep getting delayed.

Does anyone know of one that is out right now that will work with Vista 64 bit?

Ok thanks. I wish there was one that ran in vista 64 bit but I think I have an idea. Just run a VM.

Amazed more people here haven't complained about no 64 bit version of any kind of sandboxie yet.

Hi

- I have been reading your posts with interest. Before I buy Sandboxie, does it allow the programs running in the 'Sandbox/safe environment' to run at the correct speed of the PC ?
- Is Sandboxie straight forward to use if I've never used this type of software before?

Pcslookout mentioned using VM a Virual Machine. I downloaded Microsofts free program, installed it but was not sure how to get it up and running.
-Does using a Virtual Machine allow the virtual windows to run at the correct speed of your physical installation of windows?

Having never used anything like this before it sounds like an emulator which usually run slightly slower. What I would normally do is use True Image to create a backup 1st then try out the programs I need to test, if anything goes wrong then I just restore my working image and all problems have gone. It may seem a time consuming but it hasn't let me down yet.

Any help or advice would be welcome.
