My company is planning to sponsor a local weeklong blood drive for friends and family of employees (ie I think its pretty much open to anyone).
In an effort to get a massive turnout, I heard my company is going to donate $200 to the American Red Cross for each person who shows up and registers to donate (doesn't have to be an employee)
So... I'm planning to blast out an email to all my friends to get them to come out. But I don't want to stop there
I'd like to announce this on Bay Area forums like craigslist and bayarearidersforum.com to get the word out. So, do people know of Bay Area forums where I can reach the masses?
The event is not finalized yet, but $200 is the latest word within the office hallways. And I don't think they'll try to cap whatever the final donation amount is! My company has been known to be very generous (they donated $5 million in tsunami aid last year)
