San Francisco Grand Prix bicycle race!

Is anyone watching it?? It is pretty fun to watch imho. They are climbing some STEEP hills. Is it on nationaly? It passes within a block of my house so I think i'm going to go outside now.

They are not showing it here. They are at least showing the American Le Mans race at 4 so I still have a chance at happiness.

hey why'd armstrong drop out? i only caught a clip as it was being shown, but the commentator said he withdrew or soemthing

armstrong dropped out because he wasn't feeling 100% He was sick last week and it seemed like it was planned in advance that he would drop out. He helped his teammate Hincappe (sp?) get in front and then dropped out. The race just finished like a minute ago and the Hincappe guy from the US postal service team won. Saturn team took 2nd and 3rd place.

This was the first cycling race that i have ever seen and i thought it was pretty fun to watch. There is a lot of planning and manoevering that happens trying to wear eachother out and gain the lead. I never knew that there was so much action in cycling.

ya, that was pretty fun to watch. i saw it from when the started the 5 small laps to the end. that usps guy (sorry, but i cant spell his name..) put on a good show at the end of that last hill. man did he pull away fast.
