I have a 2-3 day window where I can take a trip in the next 2 weeks. Can you tour the naval yard? I know there is a famous zoo. What else is there to do? Thx.

There's tons of stuff to do. What are you interested in?

I'd like to take in the Pacific fleet somehow, I know it is stationed there. I'd also like to go to the zoo.

I like historical stuff.

He'll see more animals at the zoo. The Wild Animal Park is nice though.

If you go to the Zoo and want to see the Pandas, make sure you are there when the Zoo first opens and then head directly to the Panda exhibit. The line to get into the Panda area can get quite long if they are busy.

Also, last time I checked, you could get a discount pass that gets you into the Zoo one day, then the Wild Animal Park on another day. If you like that sort of thing, it is cheaper than buying two separate tickets.

There is a San Diego Aerospace Museum but I have never been there so I can't say how good it is. There is also Balboa Park but I haven't been there either. :)

The Aerospace Museum is pretty cool and reminded me of another cool museum in Balboa Park. Go to the railroad museum, it is freakin' awsome.
