Im running my San Diego 3700 at 2.6 ghz 1.56 volts. Load is 53c idle 36c.

I was able to boot at 2.8 ghz but it needed over 1.6 volts and temps around 60c.

I was wondering what a good stable range was and what results everyone else has had?

i'm running mine at 1.6 volts and 2.85 ghz. load temps depend on my ambient. around 50C's to 53C's is my load temp with 23C ambient.

Im using stock I figure whatever i can get with it is good enough without hurting the chip. Though I have to say its one of the better stock fans/heatsink ive seen.

a64 max temp proggie.

saw this in a thread at xs here. theres more info about it and its validity but seems pretty accurate to me.

fwiw my 3700 sandy is 1.54v max ~50.

edit for clarification- the volt/temp i said is what i run, not what the program says (57c)

I wouldn't go over 1.6 for the voltage. Max temperature should be like 55C. Of course less for both temp and voltage is always preferred.

As reported by the MSI Neo2 (take it for what it's worth) I'm at 28-29C idle and 41-43C on load. Supposedly they fixed the temperature reporting bug in the official 1.9 BIOS release. I AM running default voltages at 2.5 GHz, which is plenty good enough for me. Also see sig.

"How hot and fast are you?"

That's an extremely personal question, don't you think?
