I am in SD all this week (and a week after the next week), and I want to see operational air carriers a bit more close, than from the other side of the bay (Nimitz is not in question). Google Street View of Coronado streets shows there's no gate, and you can continue onto 2nd street (although street view stops there).
Can I drive in there, and drive around the naval complex a bit?
I am going to Coronado Brewery in 30 mins, btw, so will be there in an hour. If anyone wants to keep me company - I'd be happy to have some beers with you.
