I'll be in San Antonio over memorial day weekend for a wedding next month, and I want to take the newlyweds out Saturday night. Anyone in town know the good spots? We're all in our early to mid 20s, so college crowds/bars are just fine.

Rustle up some grub, rope some cattle, square dance, talk to the little ladies and ride off into the sunset.

I guess you could go to the Riverwalk even though it is very touristy

Riverwalk. You can just bar hop all night if you want.

Another option is to head up to wine country (Fredericksburg, about an hour north) and make the wine tour circuit.

Riverwalk sounds solid. They fucking hate it there, so I'd really like to give them a small respite of fun. We only have the one Saturday night and Sunday morning to spend with them, so I'd like to pack in a lil fun for them... thanks guys.

Why not just go to Austin and hit up 6th street? Make them wear bride & groom shirts and they're bound to get free shots. Riverwalk is nice - the first time. It gets old real quick when you live in SA.

Make sure to get some good tex-mex food. Also, SEaworld is really fun. Riverwalk as others have stated. Zuni grill had a killer prime rib. Get ideas from tripadvisor
