Hey guys, need your help finding a quote...

all through the Spurs and Laker series the commontators went back to the Spurs
locker room and told the viewers about a motivational quote that Greg Popovich had put up on the
wall in like 7 different languages... one for each player who was foreign. The quote was about a Stone cutter who hit a stone 100 times, and on the 101st time that he struck the stone, the stone broke in half, but it wasn't the 101st strike the broke it, it was all the strikes previous...

If anyone can find that quote it would be extremely beneficial...

Post it on up!

a coach from my hs football team used to tell us that alot, i probably have it somewhere in a old playbook binder

Have you ever watched a stonecutter at work? He will hammer away at a rock for perhaps a 100 times without a crack showing in it. Then, on the 101st blow, it will split in two. It is not that blow alone which accomplished the result, but the 100 others that went before as well.
