Samurai Wars: Edo-style Star Wars figurines

Model maker Sillof created this Japanese Edo period re-imagining of Star Wars. Lucas was of course inspired by "The Hidden Fortress" by Akira Kurosawa. These guys are one of a kind. Hand crafted and designed by the artist.

Obi Wan looks bad ass with that eye patch.

Vader reminds me of Shredder from the TMNT movies.

Siloff has also done Steampunk and Dieselpunk takes on Star Wars characters. During the day, he works as an high school and film teacher.
 
Obi-wan looks like any number of samurai characters as depicted in many games and movies. nothing original with him at all.
 
Pretty cool.

Goes to show how awesome the original three star wars movies were. Its a total shame that they couldnt emulate the awsomness in the latter three films.

some things work better as drawings. trying to bring them to 3D just turns out..bad.
