Why does he do crappy movies such as SWAT, Triple X, and 2004: A Light Knight's Odyssey? I thought good actors could discriminate. He sure as hell doesn't need the money!
 
Morgan Freeman is in some really stupid looking movie too.....saw a commercial the other day and grimmaced. I think it stars Jet Li. :roll:
 
The dumb but fun movies like Deep Blue Sea can pay pretty well, and reach a wide audience. And in some cases stars trade a popcorn movie or two to the studios to get them to approve some pet project small film.
 
Deep Blue Sea wasn't really an awful movie, it was good for a cheap thrills action moive, it wasn't trying to be anything more or less.
