]The Pulp Fiction actor refused to star alongside Fiddy in Get Rich Or Die Tryin', because he didn't want to work with "unproved" actors.

He said: "These people think they're worthy of you sharing screen time with them but I don't think that. Maybe if 50 Cent does five movies and shows me some talent..."

Now here is 50 cent's "comeback"

"Basically, he didn't want to play second fiddle. He knew that because of my success, people would come to see the movie because of me - and he couldn't handle that.

"To be honest, I couldn't see where he would fit into the movie anyway - other than as my grandfather."

50 cent is a moron. Sam Jackson being second fiddle to HIM in a movie. Hilarious. I'm sure this movie will be a hit, too.

If i were Jackson I wouldn't work with him either.

"because he didn't want to work with "unproved" actors"

This sounds like Samuel Jackson is being diplomatic. If I were to guess, I'd say that he thinks 50 Cent is an egotistical, untalented idiot.

I agree. He's right, too.

I meant 50 cent was the moron. Not Jackson.

Jackson has a little bit of an ego saying that someone has to be worthy of sharing the screne with him. If Jackson said he didn't want to act with 50 cent b/c he's an idiot gangsta then I'd respect it more. But 50 cent saying that Jackson would play second fiddle to him in a movie?! That's downright laughable.

I think you nailed it. I don't blame Jackson one bit, in fact I respect him for saying no to the role.

jackson dissed a gangsta rapper...rappers arent exactly smart enuff to realize what "unproved" might mean, all he hears is "50 can't run wit me."
I say good for 50 for standing up for himself...if more people actually said whats on their minds and not some "diplomatic" BS everyone would understand each other a lot better.

LOL...i think 50 was hurt by that. He prolly wanted Samuel to be in his movie to give it some legitimacy and bragging rights but got turned down instead. awesome!

Some people say things as a reflex but sadly I think 50 actually believes what came out of his own mouth.

I'm all for Samuel L. Jackson's Stance, but for the reason that wasn't in the quote, which went something like this: To be an actor is one thing, to be in a movie/vehicle for someone like fiddy cent is quite another....... Samuel L. Jackson is an Actor, he worked hard and long in obscurity to become who he has become, and there are many, many other actors out there who need a break, having guys like 50 come along and want to STAR in a movie, rob's these actors of thier livelihood. He also went on to say that he loves 50 cents music and that is what he is good at, and that he buys all of fiddy's albums...... Rappers make pretty good actors most of the time, but there's rappers that take acting seriously and are willing to put the time and effort in to it, and then there's rappers looking for some promotion, who are gonna do one or two forgettable movies and that's that........ I think that is what Sam Jackson is trying to point out......

Which makes 50 cents comments even more ridiculous.
