I feel like Gary Oldman has a sort of desperate intensity about him, (I haven't seen all that movies but of the ones I have seen). Cranston is just intense in an extreme testosterone-fueled anger sort of way. I felt like the sex early on in the show highlights that point.

I agree, Cranston > Jackson by a mile, but I admire the reason he's doing it.
