Samsung's RMA policy?

Anyone here had dealing w/Samsung? My monitor is well under warrenty (1.5 years old w/a 3yr warrenty) and I think one of my guns is going bad. I have all the Samsung paper work, but I lost my sales reciept<sp?> so I can't prove when I bought the monitor. Do you think Samsung will give me the bennifit of the doubt, or are they very by the book?

I RMA'd mine last year, they never asked for any proof of purchase. Very good service, they had a refurb at my door within 5 days.

what did you do for the RMA ?

I have a samsung 950p (no receipt either, ebay ...but it's still pretty new. Kinda afraid what to do in case it goes defective....

I submitted info via their website www.samsungusa.com and the next day I got an email back saying to call them at 1-800-SAMSUNG (800-726-7864) to arrange a swap.
