Samsung has a no deads pixel policy, currently only in korea. But about 3 weeks ago I bought one from newegg that had one stuck(green pixel)on the screen, I called samsung tier 2 tech support and they sent a new syncmaster 710n in 3 days, then I returned the defective one. I was certain they would turn down my request. I just told them that the pixel was bothersome and thats all it took.BTW, great monitor
