Hello,
I wasn't sure if I should post this in the storage area or the motherboard area, so I searched both for "XP941" and only found hits in the storage area. Thus, I am posting here.
I've owned the XP941 + Maximus VII Gene combo for a little over two years now and it has been fantastic. However, it has one slight glitch/bug that I can't quite figure out, so I thought I'd ask here.
Basically, it boots up perfectly from COLD boot every single time. It will also boot up perfectly when pressing the hard reset button on my PC as well.
However, nearly every time I do a system reboot command from Windows OS (8.1/10/10 AU), or the system reboots itself due to updates being applied, I am greeted with a prompt @ the BIOS:
All I have to do is press the hard reset button and it boots up just fine.
I've updated to the latest 3003 BIOS on my motherboard and it still does this. CSM is disabled and has been since day one with the XP941 based on guides I read back in 2014. Do you think this is the issue? Anyone else report anything like this?
Thanks for reading.
