The specs looks top notch. It would be perfect in my eyes if it had a dvi-out port. And it all wieghts in at 5.5 lbs.

What do you guys think? It costs about 1700 english pounds, so a little over 2100 or 2200 USD. Any american makers with similar specs?

most US WSXGA screens are 15.4", hense Jassi's question.

Looks like a samsung laptop with a samsung screen so they are probably doing there own thing.

Sweet looking laptop btw. X600 is just a hair faster than the 9700? I'd consider it if it was available here in the U.S.

I would have preferred an x700, might as well go with the acer 8400 series for that price
