It looks like a fancy Superzoom to me. It's definitely not a DSLR.

Personally after doing some research I decided to stay farrr away from that kind of camera. Cramming 12 megapixels and a 24x lens onto a sensor that's going to be the size of a dust mote isn't going to give you amazing pictures in a lot of situations.

Ah I missed that, they say "Superzoom style" yeah. I think the PQ remains to be seen though depending on the sensor they use, which could be an upgrade of what they used last year. What is interesting is that they include RAW photos which I don't think was something offered in their last round of cameras.

Personally I have no objection in purchasing a good superzoom if it does the job and offers virtually the same features as a decent DSLR at a lower price. There were a few of those last year, and there should be even more of those this year as sensor tech improves.
