am very pleased with my viewsonic. great colors, contrast, fast screen. no issues with dvi (for me much better than dsub as it seemed to have a "screen door" effect which went away when i used dvi).

much better all around than the 2007wfp imo, tho i miss the adj. on the dell panel (height/rotation adjustable stand can be purchased from compusa for $49 tho).

lack of comp, usb, etc not an issue at all for me.

great experience for me, and no regrets whatsoever. overall a great value for $300 imo.

I have a VX2025WM and i find the backlighting issue is more of a glare thing , if u sit in middle at right viewing angle u dont get any light in the corners.

yes, the "bleeding" disappears depending on angle. for me it's not a bother at all.

The bleeding sounds very much identical to the 215TW and mine isnt really noticeable gaming also.

cainam, what gfx card you have.
im still decideing if i should just get a sinlge 7900GT or dual, it really is coming down to how the monitor performs with a single.

I'm on a single 7800GT, and 'm fine...I can run oblivion without INI tweaks and most all settings at full, and get around 30 FPS (2xaa, no bloom, no hdr) at 1680x1050. YOu'll do fine with a single 7900 GT.

512mb 1800XT @700/1600

assuming similar perf. w/ 7900GT, the only game that struggles with high settings at 1680 is oblivion; everything else is just fine.

honestly, the last time i really noticed it was when i first got the monitor and scrutinized it. since then i haven't noticed it, so it doesn't bother me whatsoever.

I only noticed mine when I was running a windows screensaver with the flying objects and even then it was minor. So I agree the 215tw bleeding is well in the range of acceptable, lowering brightness also helps with it.
