So I scored a UN65JS8500 for a little under $2600 with no tax, free delivery. I wanted a TV for my home office\movie room. It's a pretty small room, maybe 12x12. I also bought one of those recliner sofas, and plan on mounting the TV as high as it'll go, directly above my desk & Asus Swift (which will also be mounted on the wall.)
My old TV, a Samsung PN50C7000, is being mounted on the wall in my living room\dining room with an Apple TV (darn small Hawaii homes.) I gave away the Vizio 50" 3D LCD (junk) I had in my bedroom before I moved.
I wanted the best flat TV I could get (I don't care for the curved ones.) Did I do good? I can still cancel it, as it won't be delivered until Wednesday. I plan on hooking it up to an Xbox One and a next gen Apple TV when they come out next month. My gaming PC will be right there, but I don't think there's any real advantage of hooking it up to the TV.
