Samsung TVs that are touted as "Wireless Keyboard Compatible"?

I am getting ready to buy a Samsung 32" television. It has two 2 usb ports on it but doesn't get the bragging rights of being "Wireless Keyboard Compatible" as shown on Samsungs comparison charts between different models. If I buy a TV that has USB ports I can always hook up my own wireless keyboard and adapter. So what's the difference?

Also, I wish Smart TVs would get to the point of supporting wired/wireless keyboards and mice. Not just keyboards.

Having a USB port doesn't mean those ports automatically support a peripheral device. The TV's firmware has to support a keyboard over USB with built-in drivers. Without those drivers a keyboard won't work.

The Samsung TV's that that are "wireless compatible" have Bluetooth and you can use them with Samsung's accessory Bluetooth keyboard. The newer Samsung lower end smart TV's 5300, 5500 and 6300 series will work with an inexpensive Logitech wireless keyboard. I suggest the one that has a keyboard and touch pad built into it(model 400?) on sale this week at Best Buy for $24.99

I'm not sure which model you are looking at but i've used the bluetooth keyboard from my HP touchpad on my Samsung PNE648000 Smart tv, I haven't tried a mouse but I've heard it is supported on this model.
