I have the Samsung LN40A530P1F. Have used the extended warranty twice over the years to repair CAP issue. Just recently (after almost 7 years or so of use), the TV shows green vertical lines and a high pitched audio screech on startup.
With multiple restarts, it will eventually startup.(although the intervals and number of restarts to get a picture/sound are increasing)
It would seem that I need a mainboard-- as the DTV tuner also appears non-functioning.
My question:
which mainboards can be used in this set (or am I strictly limited to the original). I'd imagine that the mainboard/power board combos span across a few models, and am wondering if anyone out there knows which would work with this set.
