Samsung TS-H552B OEM, no documentation

I drove about an hour the other day to MicroCenter. While there I picked up a Samsung TS-H552B OEM DVD burner. When I picked it up off the shelf it was in a clear plastic box that contained a CD and some piece of paper in addition to the drive. When I was paying for it the cashier took it out of the box and put it in a little plastic bag and placed that in another bag with the other items I was buying. The CD and the little paper item that had also been in the clear plastic box were not placed in my bag. I did not discover that these items were missing until I got home.

Does anyone know what is on this CD? Does anyone know what was on the little paper item? Do I need these items? Can I get them online?

The cd most likely contained burning software and possibly some other apps. You usually cannot download these items. The paper might be a warranty registration card.

I would call the store and ask them to mail the items to you.

If it was OEM, I'm surprised it would come with a CD at all. I bought the same drive OEM from Newegg and the only thing it came with was a one page installation instruction sheet and an audio cable.

I bought the same drive from Newegg. It was advertised with Nero's OEM CD at the time. Newegg didn't include the software and I had to call them to send it out. They did. The offer may have changed since then.

I'm not too worried about it. I already had the full version of Nero anyway. When did you buy yours? Mine was purchased Feb. 11th.
