Samsung t809 vs Samsung t729 (Blast)

After spilling Sprite on my trusty t629, I'm looking at getting a new unlocked Samsung phone on eBay. What are the main differences between the 809 and 729? The 729 is marketed as being handy with text messages, but this really doesn't matter to me. I'm just looking at getting the best and most features, and seeing as how they're both approximately the same price, I'm up for either one. Also, physical sturdiness is important. Anyone here have recommendations for either one?

How was the t629. I'm thinking of getting that to replace on old phone.
