Samsung T240 Owners - how do you get the lcd to stop shuffling through sources when turning on pc

i have a samsung syncmaster t240 LCD and it has 3 inputs: DVI, VGA, HDMI.

i only have one thing connected to it which is my computer through DVI.

when i turn on my pc the monitor always shuffles through DVI/VGA and HDMI very slowly and by the time it detects the signal, my windows is already booting up. i dont get to see the POST or anything else prior to windows boot up..

how can i get the monitor to stick with DVI unless i change it manually?

I took a peek at the manual, it looks like there's a manual/auto switch in the OSD for signal source selection called "Auto Source"... give that a try.
