This is a very specific question and I believe it can only be answered by someone who owns both of these parts, but here it is again if you missed it in the topic:

If I connect my ATI Radeon Xpress 200 on my MSI RS480M2-IL motherboard to my Samsung SyncMaster 730B 17" LCD Monitor via an analog RGB cable, can I play games at lower resolutions than 1280 x 1024, such as 640 x 480, 800 x 600, and 1024 x 768, without interpolation?

If you can help me or if you know somebody that can help me, then please reply as soon as possible. Thank you very much.

Well does your integrated graphics use Catalyst? I'm guessing it does. Yes usually you have a choice to do centered screen.

I don't have the computer built yet, but I will very soon. I'm almost positive that the ATI Radeon Xpress 200 uses Catalyst. Please, somebody confirm this for me.

Now, if it does, I can do what I want to in my original question?

Thank you very much, again.

I have a 730B and I used my 200M graphics while i waited for my 6600GT. It will run fine (not to mention verrrrrrrrryyyy slow in half life 2)

Edit: I have the same mobo as you do, and yes it uses catalyst

Thanks a lot! I'm finally going to build this thing very soon! The only thing that will be holding it back in terms of game performance will be the video, but that's the point of being able to upgrade past integrated! ;)
