Samsung SyncMaster 712N for $80 YMMV

Just got back from Best Buy, I went there to get a Samsung 712N thats on sale for 370 but there is a 120 rebate so it comes to about 270 with tax. While looking at them I saw an open box one, it was only 320 because of the OB but under that they had the rebates of 120 taken off so it was really 200, and you would not have to mail anything in. I was like "nice I can always bring it back if it is screwed up for some reason"

So I brought it up and they ringed me up at 200 but then they printed me the rebate forms as well....So the 200-120 for rebates is $80 now I still will have to wait for the rebate, but it was only 200 to start with so it is worth checking out if anyone is needing a Good cheap LCD with 12MS response time...... Make sure they ring it up at the 200 dollar price not the 320. I am thinking about calling the other 3 Best buys near me and seeing if they have any open box ones left Dual screens are always better

BB only give you 10% off most of the time...

The BB stores around my area wouldnt even THINK of discounting the total rebates....

How is this a hot deal? You lucked out on an open box one time mistake. , this is not a nationwide price drop or clearance, and they will not pricemtach other store's clearance/open box prices..

(1) Make sure you still have the UPC
(2) You got lucky and I doubt anyone else will. Seems like you got some stupid cashier who doesn't work in computers. Rather cold considering this won't work for anyone else, rather belong in "Brag and Moan"
