Samsung Syncmaster 30" inch LCD with a outside source?

A friend of mine is planning on getting the Samsung Syncmaster 305T 30"inch monitor for his pc, he plans to watch Blu-ray from his PS3 and also game with his PS3 using this monitor, but I told him its not possible because their is no HDMI socket with this Samsung monitor. I even told him that just get a blu-ray reader drive for his computer, but he still insisted in getting a 30inch Samsung, since few other 30 inch monitors could do so

I want to make sure I was correct in telling him, so is it possible or not possible to hook up a PS3 to the 30inch Samsung and watch blu-ray movies and play PS3 games with this display?

Dell 3008 WFP,, panel is likely made by either Samsung or LG, so it'll be fine.. and it will work with a PS3

The Samsung 305T will NOT work with Xbox 360 (or PS3 I presume) even with the HDMI/DVI adapter at least in my experience. If someone has found a way I would love to hear about it.

BECAUSE IT gotz no INTERNAL Scaler.. GET THE 3008 TRUST ME

Are you talking about the Dell 3008WFP 30" inch?? I read that it could not connect with a PS3 nor a XBOX360.
