A couple days ago I went and got a Samsung SyncMaster 245BW because it was at a nice price at FutureShop ($349.99), and I can't say anything but wow. This is an amazing monitor that produces a gorgeous picture and also tilts!
Onto the issue. I'm not sure if it's the monitor's fault, but randomly (sometimes every few hours, or even a few minutes), the screen produces artifacts that kind of horizontally run yellow on a white background and sort of zips in and out. This can be easily fixed by turning the monitor on and off. If I don't, then the monitor usually flickers on and off, and when it turns back on, the artifacts still appear.
I'm fairly sure it's the monitor's fault because my other monitor isn't doing this (I'm running two monitors in DualView), and this only started happening when I installed the SyncMaster monitor. I'm sure the DVI plug is on correctly. If it helps, I'm running a BFG 7600 GT OC. I can easily replace the monitor, since I'm still within FutureShop's 14 day exchange period, but if someone has seen this issue before it would be helpful.
