I've had the LCD a little over two weeks now, and just in the past few days I've noticed a high pitched squeal, that seems to be effected by me touching the DVI cable. I've looked around online, haven't really seen many reports of it, anybody hear anything similar to this?
 
I have the samsung syncmaster 216bw and I also notice a high pitched squeal the other day. I can't hear it right now. When I would move the monitor it would go away but then come back.
 
Everything I find online when I search for it comes up with HP or Dell LCDs having the issue. It's very intermittent though, I put the screen into Internet mode from Game and it seems to have partially fixed it.
