SAMSUNG Syncmaster 204T 20.1inch

I was using this monitor for a couple of weeks before buying my Dell 2005FPW. IMO the Samsung 204T is a great monitor, I used it to play World of Warcraft and there was no problem.

The one I was using had zero backlight issues from almost every angle, and had no dead pixels either. I've gone through 3 Dell 2005FPW and mine doesn't have too much backlight bleeding and it's not noticable in a well lit room but the Samsung didn't have that issue in any lighting conditions. The brightness was also adjustable in DVI mode, unlike the 2005FPW which is still very bright when set to 0.

If the Samsung did not cost 60% more than the Dell I would have kept the Samsung.

The 2005fp brightness is best adjusted by using the driver properties of the video card..

I just tone mine down a percent or two and everything is perfect.

Get a 2001fp or a 2005fp.

😕

it says 16ms

The panel is either the slower Samsung panel or the faster AUO panel on those Dells, I believe.
