I was reading somewhere a few days ago (can't remember where specifically) that the Samsung Spinpoint F3 has a jumper configuration that you need to set in order to run at 3.0 Gbps SATA. I didn't check the jumper configuration before installing the HD into my case. Is there a way to confirm that the HD is running at 3.0 Gbps rather than 1.5 Gbps?
I've already installed everything, laid out the cabling, and buttoned up my case, not to mention placing my case in a specific spot under my desk that's a PITA to deal with. I'm hoping someone can either confirm it's already pre-configured to run at 3.0 Gbps or there is a way to verify the setup through Win7.
