OP is very nice, almost pre-flood. That one's nice too though. Anyone familiar with the reliability of the faster one vs. the OP?

There's enough reviews complaining it's not the original Samsung and of DOA's and dead within 6 months for me to guess that the reliability has been reduced to typical Seagate levels.

I did just get one of these last week and it has all the Samsung info AND it says Barracuda on it too. I didn't do any performance testing at least its working. Hopefully it will hold up. I have two originals from 2 years ago that are still kicking butt!

Oh wow whole one year warranty if I got Seagate it would be a external 3tb usb3 for 100ish someone point me to that

My first SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 died at 2yrs old.
The drive sounds like it is spinnig but it freezes the bios on start up on 2 different pcs.
I should have rma it when it first gave errors at a year old my mistake.
I bought a hatachi 1TB with 1 platter to go with 2 ssd.
