Samsung should just STOP MAKING LCDS

Of all the Samsung LCDs I have had, they were all pretty much totally inferior.

Guess how I feel now that I've boguht a Sony PSP to find how that the US PSP (and UK) use Samsung LCDs, which have been demonstrated to be sh*ttier on the color, sharpness, and ghosting than the old Sharp LCDs Sony used to use.

I have also seen Dell XPS2/9300 Screens made by LG and Samsung... they are pure CRAP. Absolute garbage.

All Im saying is Samsung should STOP MAKING FU*KING CHEAP ASS LCDS.

Anyone else have similar experieneceS?

Hmm...funny...

Samsung's "crappy" LCDs just happen to be the most popular LCDs out there. (In terms of numbers sold)

Very true

to OP: If your in specific upset about the PSP, blame Sony!

They chose to increase profit margin by a small amount and use the lesser quality panel!

My twin monitors are Samsung even though they got Dell emblem on them. They have served me well. You pay for what you get.

The OP is probably like "wow look at this new Dell 2405FPW (widescreen), it is much much better than Samsungs LCDs"

Later on realise that its using a Samsung LTM240M1-L01 panel.

As I read this I'm looking at a pair of Samsung 213T 21.3" TFTs.
My eyes never had it so good.

Do you mean the cheap LCD's or just Samsung LCD's in general. I do get what you mean. but i wouldent agree with it completely. I am still not on an LCD because the cheap ones are not up to scratch in my oppinion and the ones i want are still at a premium. they are the ones that i find good. i bought a sony G500 instead because it was available to me at £65 ($100) and it will do me for the forseable future.
My friend has a sony LCD with max res of 12x10 and i just couldent cope with being stuck at that. but thats just me.........but looking at it it felt like it was giving a worse picture than my generic (deawoo) monitor at a lower res (probably because the equivalent resolution would be less per inch). I do guess its all down to what you are actually going to do with the monitor 12x10 res is just too low for some things like video and photo editing but is very adequate for looking at anandtech all day (better for the eyes with LCD)
Also i have never understood why laptops can have higher res screens and desktops are stuck at 12x10 in everything below 20 inch????????????????
P.s. I am not against LCD, i would have one if they could produce the same res as CRT at the same size (if i was rich;).
