Samsung SH-S183L

I just bought it for my new box because I wanted to get rid of my remaining ide device.

I haven't burned anything with it yet but it is fairly quiet. And not having to deal with ide cables ever again = woot.

If you do go to best buy to pick one up be careful. They had a large stack of the 182's (same model but IDE) on the shelf with only one price sticker, for the 183. I almost bought the 182 accidentally. The boxes are identical except for a tiny model number on the bottom and a little SATA logo on the front.
 
ok cool thanks. I saw the Plextor is a bit more, but it seems like a lot of people were having problems with it so I wanted to wait for something else. Let me know how it is.
