Two months ago: purchase Samsung S307 at a cost of $400. Can go a week without charging.
Two weeks ago: start to notice battery meter going down faster than usual.
A week ago: battery charge lasting a MAX two days (with a few short conversations).
A few days ago: battery charge lasting a day and a half (no conversations).
Yesterday: brought phone to store purchased; receive fully charged new battery replacement for free.
Today: battery dead. Go back to store and they send me to another location to send the phone out for repairs. Go to said location, I am told it will take 2 to 4 weeks for repairs. I cannot get an exchange or refund since 30 days has already passed. In the meantime I have a spare phone to use.
What can be wrong; would my provider (Rogers AT&T) be willing to knock a few dollars off my bill if I called customer service? The person who sent my phone off to be fixed wasn't at all familiar with the phone and wasn't really helpful.
