While I am sitting in the middle of the screen the sides look a little on the yellow side. When I move to one side it looks fine but then the other side looks extremely yellow! Is this normal for TN panels? This is very noticeable on white websites.

Nope, I've got the 27a950 and have as near perfect uniformity as I could wish for. No yellow sides, but all TNs including these have poor viewing angles, more so on the vertical plane than horizontal. You can try to fiddle with the so called 'magic' angle/color settings, although I find them gimmicky and prefer the defaults.

I tried everything and some calibration settings for the 750. Image quality is better but still nothing solves the yellow left/right sides. It is not an extreme issue but I am a little uncomfortable with it.

Color temp is normal and R:43 - G:51 - B:51.

It is not severe but noticeable when you look at the side when setting at the middle it is slightly yellow tinted then I move in front of that side and it improves and yellow tint is gone.

So guys, should I keep my monitor and live with it or just return it and try another unit?

I hear that this is normal for IPS screens. You can search other forums, they say the same.

Yeah, very common for IPS, I'm not sure about TNs though. Maybe Samsung is doing something exotic with that panel.

Back up. The only time I see that on my s23a950 is when I'm within 12 inches of the screen. You must be killing your eyes.

Yes, it is more apparent when I am close but I usually sit >12 inches and I notice a slight tint. Just wanted to know if it is fine to continue with this unit or ask for replacement.

"Normal" is not a temp. It should be like 5000K, 6500K, 9300K, etc. The lower the number, the more yellow the picture is going to be.

I own four IPS displays and not a single one has yellowish tint at all. Three of them are side by side, which would make it stand out. So it doesn't seem normal.

Oh yes it is color tone. I don't know how to get a color temp reading.

12 inches is still ridiculously close to be viewing your monitor. I would start at like 24 inches back from the monitor.
