Samsung Original True 512MB PC3200 @ SVC - $81.99 + shipping

Samsung tends to be very...shall we say reserved....with their timings and memory speed ratings. It will probably do better than rated (considering it's Samsung 2700 chips all over the Corsair and other memory manufacturers 3200 - 3500 rated memory).

I have a stick of Crucial PC3200 that is actually rebadged Samsung original PC3200 with these same chips on it. This memory DOES NOT like low latency, mine would not run 2-2-2-5 in my board at 182 MHz. On the other hand, I had it running merrily at 420 MHz with conservative memory timings. See my thread here LINK. I didn't perform any extensive tests on the RAM since I'm keeping it for resale once prices come back up, but these preliminary tests should tell you about whether the memory is right for you or not 🙂

That seems to be a pretty common result. The Samsung 2700 is legendary for how well it performs, the 3200 is not. It's pretty good at stock speeds and latency, but it gets very unhappy when pushed beyond that. If you want to push 3200 to 3500 levels or beyond, you'd be better off trying something besides Samsung.

I had this same memory and it would not run 222 at 166 mhz timings!! With upped voltage and relaxed timings like CAS 2.5 it would run 430 in my machine, but really tight timings it would not do at all.....🙁
