Congrats!! Be sure to post back after you hooked it up.
Thank you Maudib! I could not buy it direct from Samsung online yet, so I got my pre-order through my normal online store that has an “A” for in its first letter of it’s name. They are showing shipping in 3-4 weeks timeframe. I will be one of the first buyers like when I purchase my 4K 27” Dell monitor. LOL!

One question, why did you choose this set over a 4k monitor? The price is about the same.
You get an 32” UHD QLED with built-in Apple TV, analog TV tuner and 20 watt speakers built-in along the features of a 4K monitor in one! I do not use DisplayPort anymore so I don’t need a PC monitor. Not a gamer, so not concern with fast ms refresh but Samsung claims it for gaming too!

I have a sound bar with a subwoofer already with my Dell monitor and workstation PC!

Don't get too excited over the speakers. I have a QLED from last year, and the speakers are trash. I haven't tried the Apple tv app though, so be sure and let me know what you think. I saw the keynote for their new shows, but only one caught my eye. It's called see.

I will connect it to my soundbar and subwoofer. I have Apple TV box already and do not like the remote control. Apple TV apps are the most stable compare to those of FireFox stick and Samsung Smart TV apps. Never had a built-in Apple TV in a Samsung TV however!

Spend a full day with QLED and the TV side is stunning! Picture quality is equal to LED quality panel! The PC Monitor is a little disappointing since there is not fine tuning for brightness, contrast, etc... Text is very crisp!

Will ask Samsung for monitor software to setup as PC Monitor.

I'm pretty sure that the settings are different for each HDMI input. Are you saying that you made changes to the brightness, contrast, and they didn't take?

I figure it out! The TV settings are for both the TV and the PC Monitor and I kind of got lost in that they have two different picture modes. I just did trial and error and go to the actual picture mode which has: Dynamic, Standard, Natural and Movie. It was set to Standard and I change it to Natural and it works for both TV and PC viewing! Very happy so far!

The sound is okay too! I am only 2.5 feet away from the screen and for most uses it is clear and loud and the bass is okay unless it is a movie about war and has lots of bombs and explosions. But for normal stuff; I only set my sound level at 10 and it can go up to the high 30s? It has 20 watt output and that really overkill for where I am sitting and watch or using! 4K music videos are both good audio and visual.

Do you game at all? That’s the make or break it point for me.
Sorry, I do not on a computer! I have a old Playstation and XBox for this but use my 82" UHD for a display! I have to pull it from storage and hook it up too. I try to not do gaming since it is so utterly consuming in terms of time spend on it! It is too addicting for me. I just do it when I am lost... and cannot find anything else to do. Better to exercise or do other things like take a walk if nothing else. You can always try it out and return it if you do not like this TV as a monitor since the holidays are coming up and they extend the return policies for TVs so you can buy it and have like 2 months trial period to find out for yourself it is something that will work for you!

I have spend some time now using both the Samsung 32" UHD as a TV and monitor and it is just fabulous. Found out how to control the display controls through trial and error method. It is perfect now! LOL! And I love my 32" Samsung. I thinking about replacing my 32" kitchen HD with another 32" Samsung 4K like this model when it comes down in cost maybe on Black Friday? Samsung use the same chassis as my 32" Samsung HD but did a satin instead of piano black bezels. Since it is QLED Samsung version of OLED display; it just very clear and vivid close to the OLED screen quality for Sony and LG TVs but 1/3 of the cost! I think this is the 3rd generation QLED for Samsung so everything is better including a much faster TV processors/Wi-Fi processor inside. It is even better then my 82" model now. Everything is just zippy; EPG is instant! Still pricey for a 32" size but it is the 1st that I found; and I been search for this size 4K TV for a while too. I think this maybe Samsung top of the line model for the 32" size 4Ks since it is pricey but never know!

That is my review!

P.S.: I sure Rting and others will be reviewing this model since it the first 32" 4K TV in the marketplace! So get with it and do a search if you need expert reviews before purchasing it! YouTube! probably will be another source too!

Sounds like a winner to me! I've put off my monitor purchase until after the holidays, but I want to see this in person. Glad to hear you love it.
