Samsung mSATA SSD?

I recall at the end of last year, reading a number of press articles regarding a Samsung 830 mSATA SSD. Engadget's article in particular mentioned "a consumer version to be announced shortly".

Since then, I have yet to see one at retailers. Anyone know what happened?
 
This is a quote from the 2nd paragraph of the article linked to above.

"Unfortunately, the Pm830 SATA 3 256GB mSATA SSD is only available through system purchase and not by retail sales."
