samsung monitor wont install..nuts

I finished up installing win2k pro on my brand new computer that I built. I am kind of lacking in the win2k skills department, and i dont know how to get around this problem.

I have an Elsa Gloria II graphics card, which i installed first, then planted all the drivers. It's stuck at 16 colors and it aint pretty. The next intruction is to install the monitor, a Samsung 950p and all it's drivers. I put in the disk, select my monitor, and before i know it i get this error...

"Samsung Monitor Setup: Error occur, while installing monitor adapter(Error code 259)"

I haven't a clue what this means. I'm going to check out the samsung website now, but if anyone knows whats going on, it'll save me a lot of time. thanks .yeah i got this posted somewhere else but i think this is a more appropriate thread.
 
I would download the drivers( inf) for the monitor off the website, and try those, the inf you are trying to load may be corrupt, or older than the inf of the OS you are booting to.
 
no dice, both drivers on the cd and website are the same. i dont think it's a problem with the drivers so much as with something with win2k or the gloria2. i dunno :|
