Samsung monitor SyncMaster 955DF XP driver needed

Can anyone help me find the xp driver for this monitor? The samsung website's download fails every time. It only came with the win98 and 2000 drivers. Currently it is installed as the 'default' monitor.

Just use the Win2K drivers.

um......last time i checked monitors didnt have drivers, i thought that where is lists your monitor is only its Identification, i dont see what a monitor driver would do

Monitor "drivers" simply tell the operating system what resolutions and refresh rates are supported. Windows since 98 has come with generic SVGA drivers that allow fairly high resolutions and refresh rates up to 85 Hz. I know for certain there is a generic monitor driver in Win2K that will let you reach 1024x768x85 Hz, which is IMO the best setting on the Samsung 955DF.
