I am thinking of buying this Samsung monitor:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001798
It doesn't have built-in speakers but it does have "audio out" listed as a feature. And on the back of the monitor I see a place for a single male plug-in but there is an icon above the plug-in that looks like a headphone picture.
If I hooked up a PlayStation 3 via an HDMI cable would I be able to hook up a set of stereo speakers to this monitor or is the audio out plug-in on the back for headphones only? I know that headphones are in stereo but what I want to know is if I could get stereo from this monitor that could heard by everybody and not just me. In other words, two regular speakers for output instead of just headphones?
Also, does anybody know if this monitor has the touch button panel at the bottom right of the screen. I have an older XL2270 that has this and I love the feature. Hope they didn't do something stupid and put mechanical buttons back on these models.
