When I click on the link that says it's $339, the page loads and it says $339, than immediantly refreshes the price to $479, and remains that even if I put it in my cart? Hmmm, I was actually thinking about jumping on this one.

I noticed this happened about a hour after I bought mine. The sale did say 'limited quantities' I wonder if they sold their quota at that price already?
 
LOL want to see the price at 339? Disable Java script first and then click the link. But that wont do you any good since it's sold out.

You are still able to order but it says "More inventory may be available. Place your order today and be one of the first to receive this product when it arrives!" Your order is in, but it's a backorder. I guess its better than nothing though.

Mine was canceled too! :| I spent 40 minutes waiting on the phone for someone to tell me the cancellation department would be emailing me. WTF?!
 
Buy.com is claiming that I knowingly ordered the camera when it was 'Back ordered' and that the site never said it was in stock. However, I know for certain that is was in stock when I placed my order and I am fighting them on this. Does anyone have a screen shot from around the time the deal hit the forum? If i can get an image of the page with the sale price showing the item in stock, I might be able to get them to honor their price. Their regular support number is horrible so I dug up a number to their CA office. (949) 389-2000. No offense meant to people who's native language is not English, but they could not understand my problem nor could I understand them. Call the CA office, it's much easier to deal with.
 
Yep, they gave me a cancellation request- I did not request it- and now they've officially cancelled the order.🙁

Oh well, it was too good to be true and a pure impulse buy.
Now to get the stuff I really need, like online prescription drugs w/o doctor's consent.:laugh:

Maybe is enough of us complain they will do something about it. Just call them at this number 949-389-2000, it's their office in California. The girl I talked to was Jamie, and she was really nice about it. Just make sure you let them know it was in stock when you ordered it, and you did not approve the cancellation. If enough of us complain, they might price match from one of the other marketplace retailers on their site.

I was able to get the website a full two and half hours after I placed my order from Google's Cache. They told me over the phone that they had a screen capture of the time I bought it that said it was out of stock and on backorder. As you can see from the image, it clearly says the camera is IN STOCK! I'm sick of Buy.com's BS.
