Samsung Magictune Calibration

I just got the 970p and I'm trying to use the calibration software that came with it.

I have no idea what I'm doing, and the instructions (as you'll see in the link) are HORRIBLE.

Anyone used this? Or something similar? What you don't see being done in the animation is the brightness slider. I think I've figured out that you adjust the slider until the square in the middle is hardly distinguishable from the rest of the background.

But then they're sliding that tiny square in reference to the color thing in the lower left, and I have no clue wtf they're doing.

I'm a little dissapointed in the quality of instruction. I paid 500 bucks... for engrish?!?!

Here is what you do DONT CALIBRATE IT!!! it says that it could drastically improve IQ but its not true, it seems not many people can figure it out. Samsungs monitors come calibrated to a good degree already the only thing i would change are the colors, use the natural color program that came on the disk.

I have a 710N-2 and thought MagicTune worked great. It was the only way I could get the color black to actually appear black.
