It just has preconfigured profiles to help new users make sure it is configured correctly, see your drive's health, and keep firmware up to date.

*It does have an option called 'Rapid Mode' which which a RAM caching feature. It makes synthetic benchmarks look amazing, and provides a varying degree of 'real-world' performance. You can read this review and see if it something you want to enable. It has its pros and its cons.
