Samsung Magician w/rapid mode can not change wallpaper

My wallpaper cycler as well as manually changing wallpapers broke after enabling rapid mode. Anyone else have similar issues? If it is doing this to a simple wallpaper change I dont' even want to know what other pieces of Windows features is being broken or not working right.

I had to disable that feature what a buggy feature.

What version you running? I am running 4.3 with Windows 7 32-bit. I also have Primo Ramdisk running for a 6GB Ramdisk that contains my temp folder, browser cache, and a 1-4GB paging file located on it.

As soon as I disabled rapid mode my wallpaper started to cycle again with no problem.

BTW it seems Samsung really has bad support for there SSD drives tried to email them about this problem and there was no question type to select so no option to email them anything 🙁

I could email on my phone and my stereo system and even chat with them about them two products but no chat for SSD drives. I could even chat 24/7 on my other two products but not for the SSD drive.

I have an Evo with RAPID enabled on Windows 7 and I don't have an issue with the wallpapers.

I also don't see why you are finding it difficult to open a support case. If I go onto my local Samsung website and then support, then SSD's I can "email technical support".

Thanks.. I will email them.

What is interesting is rapid mode affects both my read and write.. with it off.

read: 537
write: 479

enabled

read: 726 - 745
write: 584-630

So it affects my write speed also. Not sure exactly what it does but wonder if it is somehow taking advantage of my 6GB Ramdisk at all.

If you are running 32 bit windows 7, how are you using a 6GB RAMDISK?

Did you patch the kernel with something unofficial?
