Hi,
I have a Samsung LN-T4671F HDTV and just recently had a Sammy tech replace the main board that has all the HDMI and RCA phono jacks on it. I did have a problem where none of the RCA phono input audio jacks worked. This resolved that problem. However I am trying to get my Dell PC connected to the TV via HDMI/DVI cable and RCA cables from the sound card. The picture is great but I am getting no audio from my sound card to the TV. I am specifically using the RCA phono input jacks that go with the HDMI port for the video. Samsung stated that my PC was too old and these RCA input jacks were looking for another type audio signal. This is crazy! I replaced my sound card with two other new cards and still have no sound from the TV. I know the cables are OK because I can play the PC audio through my stereo receiver.
All the brain trust, I really need your help. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
Also is it possible I can route my audio from the sound card to the video card and use the sound and video through the HDMI cable?
Thanks much!
Sam
