i think burning optical media is just about into the legacy era... you can definitely tell by prices. flash drives are too cheap and that trend will continue to continue
 
Rats, I just bough a new Liteon without Lightscribe and without media for about the same price.

Not that I burn more than 1 disc a month, but I've always wanted to play with Lightscribe. Not enough to buy a drive I don't need though.
 
i just went to the bank to deposit some money and i figured i would come back and treat myself to this... but i just cant do it :/ i play dvd's about twice a year and i burn them even less. cdr's are actually a lot more valuable to me
